Women on Change

Challenge

The organization’s website was outdated and confusing to navigate. Key information was buried, and the structure didn’t support the needs of potential donors, volunteers, or the community. Although a volunteer was available to help with content updates, the lack of a clear hierarchy made that content difficult to navigate.

Approach

I restructured the site around clarity and purpose, focusing on the core audiences: volunteers, donors, and beneficiaries. Over the span of a few weeks, I stayed in close communication with the organization’s founder to align on tone, voice, and overall feel. We reviewed content direction, site structure, and visual style together to ensure the design fully reflected their mission and values before moving forward.

Volunteer developers were also looped in early, allowing us to check feasibility and make sure the final design could be implemented smoothly with their resources and timelines.

Result

The new design gave the organization a clear roadmap for rebuilding with confidence. Volunteer developers were able to implement updates quickly, and the refreshed site made it easier to communicate impact and engage the community.

Every once in awhile we are blessed to come across rare finds. Kellen's passion to solve problems through his creative designs also take into account telling a holistic story with modern simplicity. He delivered a design that our amazing developers implemented with ease and a product that the next generation can feel connected to. If you are looking to trust your vision with a professional, intuitive designer, as you are open to learning about the process. I highly recommend Kellen!
