Women on Change

Women on Change

Problem

The organization’s existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and misaligned with the needs of its core audience. While a volunteer was available to assist with content updates, the site lacked a clear information hierarchy and intuitive structure - making it hard for visitors to find essential information or understand the value of the organization’s work.

Role

UX/UI Designer

Tools

Adobe CC, Figma

Solution

To address these issues, I proposed changes grounded in clarity, and purpose for the organization’s needs as well as potential volunteers and beneficiaries. This would allow for the website to empower the volunteer team with a singular touch point and make the organization's goals and contributions clear to prospective donors.

Result

The revamped design offered a clear, purposeful direction for rebuilding the site with confidence. Thanks to the structured UX framework, volunteer developers were able to implement updates efficiently. Most importantly, the new design empowered the organization to tell its story more effectively and foster stronger connections with supporters, volunteers, and the community it serves.
